The Foundation supports the heart and lung transplant community so that Western Australians who suffer heart and / or lung disease have the opportunity to participate fully in their day-to-day life.
Patients, patient families, patient supporters, medical personnel, volunteers, businesses and community members make up the Foundation’s network. People in our network work on a volunteer basis to help save and improve the lives of people with serious heart and lung conditions.
The Heart and Lung Transplant Foundation of Western Australia Inc is a non-government, not-for-profit, licensed charitable organisation based in Western Australia. We do not offer any medical advise relating to organ transplantation
Organ Donations
It is vital that you tell your loved ones of your desire to donate (or otherwise) your organs.
The Australian Donor Register is administered by Medicare on behalf of the Australian Government to provide a simple way for people to record their consent (or objection) to becoming an organ and /or tissue donor.
Become a Member
The Heart & Lung Transplant Foundation welcomes members. Membership, at $1 per annum, is open to anyone who has a desire to make a difference to people with heart and lung disease and / or is interested in promoting organ and tissue donation.
Make a Difference
As a charity, the Heart and Lung Transplant Foundation relies on donations and gifts to continue its patient assistance program, its groundbreaking research and heart and lung organ donation education and promotion initiatives.
